Yes, most definitely. But not for everyone. In fact, for most, we recommend a different model.

It costs less, but has more features. There are a few key things this All-Clad kettle lacks, like a stay-cool handle, and the competing model has those.

All-Clad is known to produce some of the best tea kettles with whistles, mainly because their models are so versatile and designed specifically with user experience in mind. As long as you don’t need a high capacity kettle, this model is a great option.

It can make up to two-quarts per pot, which is perfect for that morning pot of tea for the whole family. But it is not enough capacity for hosting large get-togethers.

This kettle is made out of a single-ply polished stainless steel and features an innovative base design that helps prevent warping, and works on a wide range of stove top types. Despite the smaller capacity, this model is a best-seller thanks to its simple design and stick-resistant surface.

Care And Maintenance

The fact that it’s made from high-grade stainless steel also ensures long-lasting durability and a natural resistance to scratching, rusting, and discoloration.

The biggest issue that you’ll have with this particular model is fingerprints. Unfortunately, stainless steel tends to get smudged fairly easily. Luckily, it’s very easy to clean.

To keep the exterior spotless and shining all you really need to do is use a small amount of dishwashing liquid, a microfiber cloth, and warm water. Gently polish the exterior, rinse, and dry promptly.

Drying the kettle immediately after washing is the best way to prevent discoloration and spotting. Never use glass cleaners to shine the exterior, since you’ll risk chemicals making their way inside the pot.

While the manufacturer claims that their kettle is dishwasher safe, I would recommend washing and drying by hand. It can be washed with a gentle, nonabrasive cleanser and a soft sponge. The spout should also be cleaned out to prevent mold growth and mineral deposit buildup.

It also has a 3-ply base design compared to the All-Clad’s single-ply design. It also has a handle equipped with a stay-cool feature which makes it safer to use and can prevent burns.

Despite its larger size, 3-ply design, and stay cool handle, it is available at a more affordable price than the All-Clad model. For that reason, we recommend the Cuisinox for most buyers. The All-Clad makes sense only if you want a smaller capacity or is you specifically prefer the way it looks.
